Team Rector: The Revd. Dr. Alan Peter Winton

The Rectory, Hobbs Hill, Welwyn AL6 9DS

Alan was ordained in 1991 and was curate at Christchurch, Southgate for four years. He then became Priest-in-Charge of St. Paul's Walden and Preston based at Whitwell whilst also being in charge of training and supporting newly ordained clergy and newly licensed Readers throughout the Diocese of St Albans.

Alan became Rector of the Benefice of Welwyn with Woolmer Green and Ayot St. Peter on 22^nd September 1999. Before studying theology at Bristol, Sheffield and Lincoln he worked as a Finance Assistant with Shell International.

Church Secretary Mrs Philippa Dowdell 
Philippa's duties include keeping the church diary and preparing the weekly pew leaflet ("items by Wednesday please")
