EPIPHANY

What is Epiphany?

Epiphany is the time when we think again about Christ revealing himself to the world. We remember the Wise Men making their journey to see the baby Christ.

Epiphany means manifestation, appearance, revelation. There is a sense of being shaken awake by the wonder of a previously unknown truth; of a light being turned on to reveal what was hidden.

How might God be revealed to you?

Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the Lord will arise upon you, and his glory will appear over you. Nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.

Isaiah 60
