Welcoming you back to Church
We are closely following Church of England guidance to allow gathered worship in St Mary's Church. If you suspect you may have Covid-19 please stay at home. If you develop symptoms within 14 days of attending a service, please firstly call NHS 111 and secondly let the Rector know by email to email@example.com or calling 01438 714150
Services of Holy Communion will take place on Sundays at 8 am and 9.30 am and on Wednesdays at 9.30 am. Do please join us if you are able and if not, find out about online church here
Do please diligently follow the social distancing rules at all times and from 8th August it is mandatory to wear a face covering unless you are exempt. You can find out about exemptions here These measures are to keep both you and others as safe as possible. It is important also to use the hand sanitiser which is provided.
To aid safe social distancing please only sit on a pew or chair where you find a service booklet. The choir stalls are also in use for congregation.
The toilets will be open in Church House but the kitchen remains closed, so sadly no refreshments after the service or at any other times.
The church is normally open daily for private prayer daily from 9.30 am - 3.30 pm. Please follow the information on the church door.
The Wellington car park is not available on Sunday as they have used part of it to create an outdoor bar. There is no parking in the High Street which is now one-way running from the church towards School Lane. However, the High Street and Lockleys car parks are open and parking as normal is available in Church Street and the Codicote Road, so you shouldn't have any problem parking.
Weddings, Baptisms, Funerals and other services
One of the clergy will be in church from 10.00 - 11.00 on Saturday mornings for enquiries, or please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
