MEN'S BREAKFAST

Three or four times a year at 8 am on a Saturday morning, a group of 50 or more men meet for a full English breakfast in Church House and to listen to a speaker talking about a wide range of subjects.  Previously this has included talks on steam trains, Dubai airport and the Paris Concorde crash amongst other things.  You don't need to be a church-goer to attend!

Saturday 26th January 2019

8.00 for 8.15 am in Church House

Delighted to say that Rev'd David Munchin will talk to us about his epic bike ride

“Ardennes, Alps, Apennines – an alphabetic guide to things between Welwyn and Rome”

He will tell us how he cycled 1500 miles across the plains of Europe in 21 days and climbed mountain ranges including the 4,900 ft St Gotthard Pass. His is a fascinating story about his pre-planning and preparation, his experiences along the way, the people he met and the places that he saw.

Men of all ages are welcome. Come yourself and bring a friend or two.

Admission by Ticket only in advance £8.00. Tickets available from:-
