St Michael's is one of six Anglican churches in the Welwyn Team Ministry (WTM) in the Diocese of St Albans in Hertfordshire.  The WTM is organised into five parishes, the Parish of Welwyn and Woolmer Green, the Parish of Ayot St. Peter, the Parish of All Saints, Datchworth, the Parish of St Peter's, Tewin and the Parish of St Giles, Codicote.
