Our children and young people are essential to the life of St Mary's Church!

 

Essential for what great things they have to say, their refreshing and challenging thinking and the example that they provide us in how they live their lives.

• A range of age-specific groups to engage, teach and enable them to explore their faith on a Sunday morning and evening 

• Mid-week activities for the very young and their carers

• After-school fun and food for primary kids, supporting families

• Welwyn Tune: a great junior choir creating the voices of the future

• Activities at St Mary's school to enable exploration of their faith as part of their education

• Prayer: the children of our parish are held up in prayer every week

• Worship services which are designed with children and young people's needs in mind: often this means they play a part in creating and leading the services
